Support group meets at 6:00 pm on the first and third Mondays of every month. Meetings are typically held in the lobby of Dr. Ray's office. The group co-coordinators are Carol McCord and Ashlee Richardson. Carol McCord is a faculty member at Indiana University and has been leading the group since 2004. Ashlee is our bariatric facilitator.

The group offers a chance for people who have been through the program a chance to offer each other support. There is a clothing exchange, recipe exchange, various social functions including the Christmas party.

This group had been immensely popular. At one time, we were able to offer membership to people who had their surgery at other centers, however, because of the popularity; we have been forced to limit attendance only to our patients. We apologize for any inconvenience.

There is no charge for attendance or membership. You do not need to register.
